In Conversation with Serial Entrepreneur Filip Boksa

Being an entrepreneur is not everyone’s cup of tea. Coming up with a winning idea, raising capital, marketing, and attracting clients are all the odds that need to be turned in your favor when launching your own company. The struggle it takes to become a business visionary is the reason why many would-be entrepreneurs keep dreaming and planning and never muster enough guts to take the leap of faith.

Yet, entrepreneurship is truly worth it for those who know how to weather the storms of initial struggle to relish the rainbows of financial gains. Today, we joined in conversation with one such remarkable entrepreneur, Filip Boksa, who manages to scale up his company to 7 figures in just two years, to know about his entrepreneurial journey. Boksa talks about his struggles to reach 1-million milestones and how that led to igniting his passion for empowering others with his knowledge and skills.

Boksa laid the foundation of King of Maids in 2013, connecting customers searching for maids to clean. The company began generating $5,000,000 revenue that eventually led to Boksa starting BookingKoala, a company that focuses on developing service type businesses. He later co-founded, Sassy Egg Inc., a company focused on empowering business to grow and increase ROI, seeking after his desire to helps other achieve their goals.

Embarking on his journey to entrepreneurship in the first year of his college, Boksa shares that reaching the milestone first million was all the ‘kick’ he needed to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. “Reaching my first million was not hard, but truly required my blood, sweat, and tears. It was hard to manage my business dream with college, yet with earning the first million, I dropped out to opt for full-fledged entrepreneurship,” he says.

Filip Boksa reveals that his entrepreneurship necessitated full working hours throughout the week in the beginning stages. “I remember that Monday and Sunday both were the same working day for me. I even worked on holidays, be it Thanksgiving or Christmas. I was known as the workaholic in my family yet, witnessing my businesses making it to the horizons makes each bit of my struggles and sacrifices all worth it,” he says.

Boksa further shares that a few ideals served as his utmost inspiration throughout his struggle as an entrepreneur. “I read profoundly about Bill Gates, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan. I admired their work ethics so much and desired to know everything about them and what makes them achieve such greatness. I also learned, to be great, you have to copy and model yourself after the great, which is exactly what Kobe did. He copied Michael Jordan in everything he did and became great himself. I studied some other greats: Tony Robbins, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Oprah, Napoleon Hill, Henry Ford, Dale Carnage, and a few others. I studied a lot of successful people, and it empowered me to cultivate the habits of successful individuals,” he says.

The best thing about reaching the first million milestones was a total shift in Boksa’s perspective. “I had a dream to make $100,000 per annum and relish a comfortable life. The moment my venture did seven figures in revenue, I was overjoyed crushing my goals, yet at that moment, I felt a shift in perspective. I no longer wanted to suppress my goals and aimed to achieve true greatness. Therefore, I then decided to empower others to discover their true passion with my insights.

Filip Boksa advises aspiring entrepreneur to be passionate and believe in yourself when the world deems your dreams impossible. “Work super hard and surround yourself with positive people. Learn as much as you can and be optimistic about achieving greatness in business and life. Yet, no matter what you do, do it with all your heart, soul, and mind,” he concludes.
